Ewanrigg Lodge No.7146
W Bro. Ted died peacefully on Thursday 26th June 2008 after a long illness. His funeral with take place at 2pm on Wednesday 4th July 2008 at St Johns' Church Workington followed by cremation at Distington. He has been a keen member of Ewanrigg Lodge No 7146 since December 1955 (having transferred from Lodge No 580 in West Lancashire which he joined in April 1946) and rarely missed a meeting. He was presented with his 60 year certificate in May 2006. He was an example to us all and will be sorely missed.

David died peacefully following a short battle with cancer. He received Grand Honours in the Royal Arch just this year but he was too ill to attend the Convocation of Grand Chapter to be invested and never had a chance to wear his regalia. David's funeral will be held at Distington Crematorium on Thursday 26th.June 2008 at 11.15am. There will be refreshments at the Hunday Manor Hotel Workington afterwards. David Bain will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Honorary Member of Derwentwater Lodge - Lionel's funeral will take place at 12 noon on Monday 12th May 2008 at St. John's Church Keswick. Lionel celebrated his 100th birthday last year.

Chris lost his courageous battle surrounded by his family at St. Mary's Hospice Ulverston. A true Brother among Masons. He will be sadly missed in Ambleside Lodge - we salute his passing to the Grand Lodge Above. The cremation service will be at Barrow Crematorium at 2.30pm on Friday 9th May 2008 followed by a Service of Thanksgiving at St. Paul's Church Grange-Over-Sands at 3:30pm. There will be refreshments at the British Legion afterwards. Donations may be made in his memory to St. Mary's Hospice Ulverston.

Ashley died suddenly on Friday 18th April 2008. His Funeral is on Monday 28th April at Boltongate Church at 10.45 a.m. followed by cremation at Carlisle Crematorium at 11.40 a.m.

Maurice passed to the Grand Lodge Above on Wednesday 12th March 2008 he was an Honorary and Founder Member of Alnefoot Lodge and was the first W.M. in October 1987. It's sad to think that Maurice and his wife Anne missed the pleasure of their Diamond Wedding anniversary which they were planning to celebrate only 17 days later on 29th March.

Trevor passed to the Grand Lodge above on Monday 25th February after a sudden heart attack aged 44 years. He was a Steward of Ellen Vale Lodge 7375 and also a Steward of Gardiner Mark Lodge 738. Trevor will be Cremated on Monday 3rd March at Carlisle Crematorium at 12.40pm. He will be sadly missed by all who knew him - So Mote it Be.

Also a Member of the Belted Will Royal Arch Chapter No. 3189. The funeral will be on Thursday 28th February 2008 at 12:00 noon and will take place at the Church of Scotland Carlisle followed by burial at Carlisle Cemetery. Everyone is invited to the Funeral Tea to be held in the Greystone Hotel off Dalston Road Carlisle.

Passed away aged 93 years. Archie was also a Member of Regularity Chapter No. 339. Last April Archie was presented with his 50 year certificate by W.Bro. Harry Hogarth. Archie?s Funeral Service is at Christ Church Penrith on Tuesday 5th February at 12.30pm.

Passed away this morning at 6:30pm on Friday 25th January 2008 - May he Rest in Peace. The Funeral for Martin will be at St Andrew's Church Sedbergh at 1400 on Friday 1st February followed by a Funeral Tea at Sedbergh Golf Club.
