A recent application by our Provincial Almoner, WBro Ken Archer, to the Worthy Causes Committee of the Mark Benevolent Fund resulted in a grant to the Province of some £25,000 to purchase laptop computers for disadvantaged primary school pupils. The Provincial MBF added a further £5,000 bringing the total to £30,000. 115 Laptop Computers, a mixture of Dell, Lenovo and HP, were purchased, all pre-loaded with Windows 10 and all displaying adhesive graphics to signify the donation from both Grand Lodge and the Province . The distribution of the Laptops has been left in the safe hands of the Education Authorities who have been briefed on the geographical extent of our Masonic Province.
