🏌️♂️ Cumberland & Westmorland Masonic Golf Association Charity Day 🏌️♀️
On Wednesday 9th July, 58 golfers, including Freemasons and their guests enjoyed a sunny day at Penrith Golf Club for the annual C&W Masonic Golf Association Charity Day.
With a proud tradition spanning over 75 years, this fantastic event has raised tens of thousands of pounds for both Masonic and local charities. Past contributions include £5,000 to the 1997 Festival, £10,300 to the 2007 Festival, and over £10,000 to the 2016 RMBI Festival.
A huge thank you goes to Lawrence Hinde, our tireless Secretary/Treasurer, and Brian Ritson, long-serving past Secretary and scoring wizard, for making the day run so smoothly.
We were honoured to welcome the Deputy head of Cumberland and Westmorland Freemasons Keith Beaumont, who presented prizes and trophies and received a cheque for £2,000 towards the 2027 Provincial Festival on behalf of the Province, kindly donated by the Association President Glyn Titterington, Lawrence Hinde, and Brian Ritson.
⛳️ A great day, a great cause, and great company!
