Bela lodge is a thriving masonic lodge based in Milnthorpe in the South Lakes. We meet on the 3rd Wednesday of each month from September to November and January to May. We form a very active role with the masonic province of Cumberland and Westmorland.
After our monthly meeting in the lodge room we have a festive board. Which is usually a meal and drinks and a chance to relax and get to know other members and learn about the craft.
We have a range of members from all walks of life, all with one goal – “to make good men better”. Alongside our masonic rituals (a series of short playlets) and our charitable events, we also have a very active social side to our gatherings, ranging from pub meets, fish and chip nights through to formal ladies evenings, when we alongside our wives and partners organise and enjoy a black tie evening.
To enquire about joining one of the oldest fraternities in the world or for more information contact the lodge secretary on L7576@cumbriafreemasons.org
