Lewis Chapter No 872 makes a donation to St Bees Under 13s Football Club.
First principal of Lewis Chapter Luke Jackson, accompanied by some of his Companions, recently presented a cheque for £335 to St Bees FC. The money had been raised at his installation. This will help the club buy training kit for the players, one of which is Luke’s son, Teddy.
The cheque was handed over at a home match against Whitehaven Amateurs Yellows which they won.
Receiving the cheque, coach James Parkinson said “we are really grateful to Whitehaven Freemasons for this donation. We rely on the generosity of parents and sponsors to give our players the best possible experience and contributions such as this make a real difference”.
Pictured is the team with Luke, Companions Andrew Mead and Mark Edmiston, coach James and and Teddy, who can be seen in this short video.
