Tonight 15 November 2024 at the regular meeting of Cumbria Lodge No 6643, W Bro Colin Walker was presented with his 50 years in Freemasonry certificate by W Bro William Morley in front of a full Lodge, he was also promoted to the rank of Past Provincial Junior Grand Warden by the Provincial Grand Lodge of Cumberland and Westmorland and the Provincial Grand Lodge of West Kent, a double promotion in two provinces to the same rank that had not been seen by any of the attending officers before.
The festive board was a happy occasion with visitors from 12 different lodges over 5 Provinces, after which W Bro Morley presented Colin with a folder containing all his masonic achievements and lapel badge for his new office. A great night of celebration , with wonderful food and good company.
