It isn’t very often that an Assistant Provincial Grand Master installs a Past Assistant Provincial Grand Master into the Chair of a lodge💥, but that is exactly what happened on the morning of Wednesday 17 September.
After being presented by Norman Thompson, Past Provincial Grand Master, David Bowden installed Ian D’Arcy as Worshipful Master of Zenith Lodge in a way that lived up to the lodge’s fine reputation, whose membership is made up entirely of Grand Lodge Officers💛
Members enjoyed a lively festive board where the visitors’ toast was given by Harry Shone, a former colleague of the Worshipful Master, who had travelled from the Province of Cheshire to attend.
It was a most enjoyable day of freemasonry, and a wonderful installation.
Congratulations Ian, for taking the chair as worshipful master, from all the members of the the province🙌🏼
