On Tuesday 16th November, W. Bro. Glyn Titterington (past Group Chairman) had the great pleasure of presenting a cheque for £2,000 to Jennifer Scott of the Lakes District Calvert Trust.
The Lake District Calvert Trust is one of the charities nominated and selected by the East Lakes Group of Lodges and Chapters.
He was accompanied by W. Bro. Keith Beaumont (APGM) and W. Bro. Paul Godber (Group Mentor). The staff of the Calvert Trust are extremely grateful for the donation which, together with other generous grants, will help them to slowly recover from the devastating effects of the Covid closure.
The donation was in response to the Charities ‘Bounce back‘ appeal.
The funding was raised as part of the Provincial Grand Masters match funding initiative, local freemasons supporting local charities.
