Local Freemasons support Cleator Moor Christmas lights switch on

On Friday the 26th November, the DPGM William Morley BEM and the Immediate PPJGW Jeff Kane made the Cleator Moor Civic Hall and Masonic Centre available to host the Christmas lights switch-on for the local community. Local Freemasons helped by providing a venue for the community to enjoy the Christmas lights switch-on, and enhance the festivities for all. Refreshments were provided including tea, coffee, cakes, mince pies, and there were soft drinks for the children.

 The local school were singing carols, the Cleator Moor Brass band was playing, A ukulele band playing musical songs of Christmas, there was a Tombola raising funds for CAAS and the Local boys club were raising funds for the community. In addition to those funds, £190 was raised for the Cumberland and Westmorland Festival.

An enjoyable festive night was had by all.
