Woodworking sessions at CancerCare’s Kendal centre have received a boost with a generous grant of £1,000 from the Freemasons of Cumbria. The grant will keep the members of the woodwork group chiselling, drilling and sawing for weeks to come under the experienced eye of our tutor, Tom Webster.
The woodwork group offers the support to learn something new, alongside people who understand what it’s like to be affected by cancer or bereavement.
