On Wednesday night, we proudly celebrated the 150th anniversary of Bective Lodge! 🎉
Originally founded by the Earl of Bective, the lodge first met on English Street in Carlisle.
It was a truly memorable evening, with the Head of Cumberland & Westmorland Freemasons, his Provincial Team, and a large number of visitors joining us to mark this significant milestone 🥳
Bective Lodge continues to grow from strength to strength, and remains committed to supporting both the local community and the wider world of Freemasonry.
On the night, special congratulations went to:
🎯Ian Irving, who was promoted to Past Provincial Grand Standard Bearer
🎯Dale Ransley, who was promoted to Past Provincial Superintendent of Works
Both received well-deserved recognition for their outstanding contributions, particularly in relation to the acquisition and relocation to the lodge’s new Masonic building 👏🏼🙌🏼
A heartfelt congratulations to the entire lodge and its members on reaching such a remarkable milestone.
Here’s to the next 150 years! 🍾🎊
