Skiddaw Lodge No.1002 have been busy carrying out remedial work to their building during the past year.
A lot of work has been completed to the lodge room including taking down the mural on the East wall, repairing the wall behind it and repainting the mural.
The downstairs areas of the building have also be refurbished.
On Thursday 22 July, R.W.Bro William John Bewley Provincial Grand Master and V.W.Bro William Morley B.E.M. Deputy Provincial Grand Master were given a preview of the building before it was opened that evening.
