The annual “Carols in the Lodge” event took place in Gordon Street Masonic Temple on Sunday 15th December with a packed lodge room , masons and non masons alike, enjoying performances from the choir “Voices in Harmony”, and friends, under the direction of Claire Humes. Organist W.Bro Alan Jackson provided the musical support.

This event is now in its 16th year and was originated, and is still organised by, W.Bro Bob Holliday and his wife Barbara, and continues to be as popular as ever.

After the concert mince pies and refreshments were served in the function room by members of the Lodge, along with a raffle. A sum of £535 was raised which will be used to maintain the building. Pictured handing over the cheque to Garyth Orton, secretary of the Management Committee, are Bob and Barbara, with Gary Whetton, who acted as MC for the evening
