The Wigton Carnival Group would like to express its sincere thanks to the Cumberland & Westmorland Freemasons and in particular, the members of St John’s Craft and Mark Lodges, Water Street, Wigton, together with the Trustees of the Cumberland & Westmorland Freemasons’ Charity for their very generous donation of £1,100.00 in support of this year’s Carnival. The Freemasons’ Community Engagement Team agree that building friendships whilst serving our communities remains vitally important as we all live and work together and for the benefit of the wider community in general.
