On Wednesday, 11th September W.Bro Ian Grant (IPM of Ennerdale Lodge, JD of Brigantes Lodge and Scribe N of Chapter of Concord (West Lancashire)) presented Cheques to Mrs Paula Wilson (Head of Fundraising for Lancashire teaching Hospitals NHS Trust) totalling £450 that were donated by Ian’s Lodges and Chapter and also from the Lodge of Concord (West Lancashire). In addition over £600 was donated through sponsorship from Masons in both Cumberland & Westmorland and West Lancashire.
During the summer, Ian and 9 non-masons cycled the 170 mile Way of the Roses Coast to Coast Cycle Ride raising a staggering £10,013.90 that will be used towards the construction of a new Bereavement Centre at the Royal Preston Hospital.
