We also had the pleasure of donating £4,000 to Springfield Domestic Abuse Support this week, unfortunately they couldn’t attend our meeting one Thursday.
This amazing charity supports women, men and children who have experienced or whom are currently experiencing domestic abuse.
They provide emergency accommodation in the form of a refuge for women and children and a male safe accommodation service for men. They support clients in the community via 1:1 support, peer support and therapeutic group work sessions.
As well as this they also raise awareness sessions throughout the community by delivering talks and training at various community groups, schools and businesses.
This charity was chosen by the south area, Area lead – John Wrennal.
