This year the Lodge of Friendship No 8275 in Cleator Moor, will be holding a Christmas Makers Market & Christmas light switch on at the Civic Hall and Masonic centre in the town square. The event will see over 30 local producers, hot and cold food treats, street food, carol singers, live music, and much more providing much needed community cheer, Father Christmas will also be there with gifts for the children! This is a great example of how local Freemasons join forces to provide a positive impact in their local community.
All the funds raised during this event which runs all day on the 28th November 12 till 7pm, will be given by the Lodge, to the Morelys Defibrillator Charity, which provides life saving equipment through the whole of the County.
Full details of the day will be issued shortly, but for now you can help if you are a local maker, crafter, food producer or musician and would like to help on the day then please get in touch with Guy on info@photosbyguy.co.uk who can give you the full event details.
And of course if this sounds like a community event you would like to support by becoming a Freemason in Cumberland and Westmorland, then why not pop down and meet the team there who can answer any questions and show you around. All you have to do is ask !
