What an unforgettable and deeply moving day…
Our Annual Easter Egg Run has once again reminded us what kindness, generosity, and community truly look like. We were honoured to visit the children’s wards at Carlisle Hospital, West Cumberland Hospital, and Jigsaw Children’s Hospice, places filled with incredible strength, courage, and hope.
The welcome we received was nothing short of heartwarming. But it was the smiles, the real, joyful, unforgettable smiles from the children that will stay with us forever. In those moments, every mile travelled and every effort made felt more than worthwhile.
Thanks to your incredible support, we were able to deliver over 100 Easter eggs, 100 teddy bears (beautifully donated by TLC), and a £500 donation to each location. Which we hope brought comfort, happiness, and a little bit of magic.
And we’re not done yet…
We’ll soon be continuing our journey, sharing more Easter cheer with Mayfield School and the children’s ward at Furness General Hospital, along with further gifts and another £500 donation.
That brings us to a truly humbling total of £2,500 given to five amazing children’s charities, something every single one of you should feel proud to be part of.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to all the Lodges and Chapters from the Province of Cumberland and Westmorland. Your generosity hasn’t just made a difference, it has touched lives, lifted spirits, and created moments of joy that won’t be forgotten.
This is what community is all about.
