Lewis Lodge Donates Much-Needed Toys & Equipment to Footsteps

Today, the Worshipful Master of Lewis Lodge No. 872, W. Bro Paul Rose, accompanied by several of his Brethren, had the pleasure of visiting Footsteps in Whitehaven to deliver much-needed toys and equipment for the children who use their services.

A fantastic £1,140 was raised during Paul’s Installation, and Paul made the decision that the entire amount would be donated to Footsteps — a cause that is particularly close to his heart, as his own son attended the centre.

Footsteps is a Child Development Centre situated in the heart of Whitehaven. The dedicated team provides specialist advice and support to children and young people, as well as parents, carers, schools, nurseries, health visitors, childminders and charities.

Their services include Speech and Language Therapy, Physiotherapy, Occupational Therapy and Audiology, providing invaluable support to children and families across our local community.

It was a real privilege for Paul and the Brethren of Lewis Lodge to be able to support such an important local service.

A huge thank you to everyone who contributed to the £1,140 raised, and especially to W. Bro Paul Rose for choosing to support a charity that means so much to him and his family.

Friendship, Charity & Service — at the heart of Lewis Lodge No. 872.
