On Friday 25th October Bro. Alan Brightwell was installed as Worshipful Master of Alston Lodge No. 2794, in a very sincere and capable manner by the Installing Master, W. Bro. Jeff Rogers. The Lodge was honoured by the attendance of W. Bro. Peter Clark PAGDC as the representative of our Rt. Wor. Provincial Grand Master. After a ‘traditional’ Alston Lodge ceremony and fine festive board, Brethren were entertained superbly by Chris Blackshaw, the son of Bro. Chris Blackshaw, who sang ‘songs from the musicals’ , whilst accompanying himself on the piano. A very enjoyable evening was had by all.
