On 27th September W Bro Bill Morley BEM the Deputy Provincial Grand Master (craft) and W Bro Barry Kirkbride the deputy Provincial Grand Master (Mark degree) accompanied by W Bro Bob Sanderson, presented cheques totaling £1200.00 to the Air Cadets of 2199 Squadron (Workington) on behalf of the Freemasons of Cumberland and Westmoreland to help with the purchase of sport kits and other equipment.
The cadets gave the brethren a presentation of tasks that they carry out at different stages, then two cadets also gave a presentation of their Duke of Edinburgh Siver awards carried out over 3 days, another cheque was also presented from the vintage rally that is held every year at Distington,
The Cadets showed their thanks by giving the brethren a big thank you and a lovely round of applause.
