A new court of Athelstan was recently held at Keswick Masonic Hall, it was great to see so many founder members. The Athelstan Order is based on the historic records of the life and the legend of King Athelstan. It reflects and recognises how early reference to the importance of Masonry in English history was significant for the development of speculative Freemasonry.
